    Preferably fine sand similar to playsand, but let me know what u got anyways.

    Think it was either 1.29 or 1.49 a pound in store? Or 3m colored quartz is very nice to, think it's like 30-50 a bag or less if used? Been a while since I've bought any. Just wash that stuff veryyyy well, the black sand will turn your hands black as well!

    Need around 100lbs on it!


    Btw. Anyone use sandblasting sand? Or other alternative black sand that's aquarium safe?

    I have about 60lbs of used CaribSea Black Tahitian Moon sand. I just took it out of my 55G, needs a darn good cleaning after being in the tank for a year but you can have it cheap.

    Black beauty blasting sand, or coal slag, was the only thing I could find that was cheap and black

    silica sand from lordco its not black but it looks nice and is $11 for a 50 lb bag
