I'm new to BC (recently moved to Victoria from Ontario) and back into the hobby after a 1 year break.
I recently got a Fluval Spec V and started my first "dirted tank" / Walstad method / Natural Planted Tank (NPT). I want to keep it a low-tech tank that will become as self sustaining as possible.
This pic is from the first day - I've tried to plant it as much as I could right at set-up:
Since I'm currently living in a bachelor apartment, there are no plans to get any other tanks for the foreseeable future.
