hp10BII liked post by VElderton On thread : Is over Filtration really necessary?

hp10BII liked post by VElderton On thread : Is over Filtration really necessary?
I agree the more bio-breakdown between water changes the better. As I said my aim is have at least 10 x of the tank volume of filtered each hour. I have just started using Hydroton thanks to...

hp10BII liked post by DeerHunter On thread : How do you keep floating plants from drifting.
Take some air tubing and make a circle out of it. Slip in behind the intake and the rest will float. Plants will not go over the tubing and will stay out of your intake. I did this with duckweed.

What is your set-up? If we knew that we could help provide a better answer to your question. I use to live in a more remote area and kept freshwater tanks where power often was down for hours at...

hp10BII liked post by Geoffrey On thread : Current USA Satellite Plus PRO LED Light Fixture 36"
The Satellite+ Pro is better than the Planted+ 24/7. You might also want to look into the Fluval Planted 2.0. It has more PAR and is cheaper (in price) than the Current. It's fully waterproof and has...
