  1. Hi Victor. Did you get my earlier message? My system crashed partway through so not sure if completed the send.

I saw your YouTube video - great setup you have going there.

Your planted tanks - what level of effort are you investing? I have a 4’ 120 G and am looking at options - another SA setup or possibly a planted tank, so was interested to understand how you have them set up I.e. CO2 dosing, fertilizing schedule, substrate, lighting, water change schedule etc

    Thanks
  2. Hi Victor. I got an e-mail saying that you had p.m.'d me and my mailbox was full. I have cleared it.
Thanks for your part in making yesterday such a pleasurable......stress-free day. It was definitely the best day that we have had since I have been helping our on the computer end of the auction.
Enjoyed seeing your fish room....it's amazing how many tanks you have squeezed in such a small area.
    Thanks again, George

I keep most of my breeding groups in biotope tanks. I move pairs or breeding groups to special tanks to spawn and raise fry. I also take full advantage of Ziss & Marina water circulating breeder boxes. African Cichlids are what I breed mostly but have gotten more interested in catfish - corys & BN plecos in the past 12 months.

With two fry it probably doesnít matter, If it was my tank I would be running both bubble wand and sponge filter or two sponge filters if the air pump has a good capacity. As mentioned sponge...

The only thing Iíd add is a large sponge filter to make sure you have maximum oxygenation with surface agitation. I raise a few hundred Africans each year and the system I suggested is what I use...

    1) Peacocks all belong to the same genus so crosses are easy in any size tank. Some Peacocks were developed in breeding facilities and do not occur in the wild. Depending on which species you started...
