    Default My victorian Mbuna Killer

snapped these pic's this morning thought i'd share !

to give an idea that EBJ is roughly 3" long, Worried the Vic might have caught more then he can swallow i decided to intervene

Amazingly enough both fish are fine, the vic isn’t pleased about me stealing his meal but I didn’t want to risk him choking, and the EBJ has a few nice rings of teeth marks but nothing that wont heal

Yup, they are, that EBJ is plenty big enough not to get eaten just a freak incident I don’t think either is going to make that mistake again.
Plus that tank houses several breeding species, I don’t separate holding mothers or any fry at any age, some get picked off, actually I have a Blue Hap who’s pushing 6” absolutely stunning creature and I’ve NEVER seen him eat fish food, have had him since 1” he lives almost 100% on what he catches, I’m sure him and the Vic polish off dozens of fry monthly and even with that I still get over crowded and end up having to cull the heard a few times a year.

Here's a neat pic of my other Mbuna killer, he moves rather quickly unless lurking in the dark, and he has incredible shine too him making it VERY hard to get pic’s, My large interruptus male loves the camera and jumped into this show ruining what would have been a perfect full body shot, but turned out neat
