    Aragonite ... usually available @ J & L Aquatics but you may find it at other LFS like Rogers and/or Fish Addicts that sell Africans.

    I keep most of my breeding groups in biotope tanks. I move pairs or breeding groups to special tanks to spawn and raise fry. I also take full advantage of Ziss & Marina water circulating breeder boxes. African Cichlids are what I breed mostly but have gotten more interested in catfish - corys & BN plecos in the past 12 months.

    Hi thanks for reply are we talking about the Oolitic type. ? There seems to be a whole bunch when you start counting the live stuff does some one have exact type and brand name.

    I like using the finer type of substrate from Caribsea or SeaChem ... both great brands that I use and have used.
