Hey guys i'm pretty new to marine aquariums and this is my first fish tank containing live rock.
As i was injecting some aiptasia that was growing on my live rock this little guy came darting out of hiding.
Anyone know what it is?
Looks hard shelled like a snail but with lots of appendages (legs? antennae?) like a type of pod. Need more pics and more info. Is it running around or slithering along or staying still?
slithers around like a snail but moves quite quickly and has two long antannae sticking out from its head. not sure if the shell thing is hard or not seems to be able to morph into tight spaces in the rock and it looks like it likes to wrap itself around the aiptasia in the tank.
How does it affect the livestock in the habitat? Both negatively and positively please
