Asian Carp is an invasive species, if not careful, it might dominate Canadian lakes. Thoughts?

I wonder if they're tasty?

Saw on YouTube a weird scenario where the carps are just jumping about. Or perhaps just spooked by the boat.

I remember seeing them for sale at T & T Supermarket (dead of course). The texture of the white meat is not that bad and it reminds me of codfish fillet. It was interesting how that supermarket also used to sell live snakehead (you could bring them home alive lol) back in the day.

My dad when we first immigrated here worked in a Chinatown fish shop. One of his jobs was to make the fish cake and I clearly remember them using carp. I don't ever remember us eating carp otherwise.
