7 Day for shipping! With tracking numbers.. ordered mine this week, will be here next week! Will let you know how good the order is! I ordered light fixtures.. so if it's in good condition! I"ll let you all know!

cant pick up localy? how long does shipping take? and what if the item breaks durign shipping?
Shipping is relatively quick. Ordered on a Monday and got it Friday.
However, the item I order from them was broken when I got it. It was not damaged by Canada Post, but it was damaged in the warehouse before shipment. Called them the day I got it and they offered to replace it or refund it immediately. Hopefully the refund goes through.

You're seriously scaring me! My shipment is either going to come tomorrow or tuesday! And it's a light fixture! :( Now i'm worried!

Things like this happen. Just bad luck I guess. They were really great about fixing the problem. They will even pay for return shipping if you notify them right away. The only reason I asked for a refund was because I needed it that week so I just went out and payed a little extra in store. If it makes you feel better I order several things in the package and everything else was fine. Just so happens the most needed item wasn't, which is a shame. I would still order from them in the future...unless my refund doesn't go through.

Don't sweat it. It will be fine. If not they can fix it.

=) Thanks for the comfort! Im praying that it'll be here tomorrow! I need those lights for my plants! And it's the only reason I can give the lady an excuse why i wanna replant the tank! =) already have the tongs and root tabs ready! HAHA Just waiting for it! I'll definitely let you guys know how it goes when i get it!

Anyways, My package arrived yesterday! Anyways, sorry that I didn't post up! Everything is in absolutely perfect condition! cant be happier than right now!

Glad your stuff came, Eternity302.
I've ordered from them several times now in the past couple of months since I discovered that they were a sponsor and the packages usually arrive within a week. I ordered lights and they arrived in excellent shape. I've found them quite handy for parts; ordering impellers and such from them saves me quite a bit of time on the bus.

I'm so happy, took over 5 minutes to unpack! That's how great the packaging wuz!! and not a scratch on anything at all, but the box was dented, so I bet that wuz canada post!

I always find their things very well packed. Often the boxes are huge compared to what's inside.

A funny thing -- Today, another box from Big Als arrived. My sons were very excited because on the outside it said "20 kg. dark chocolate drops."

Inside, though, were aquarium supplies. I baked them some chocolate chip cookies to compensate.

I had a huge box with tons of bubble wrap for a small 1KG plastic bottle of neutralizer LOL!! =) i can't thank them more for protecting my order!!

Now off I make another order tonigth!!

Local Pick Ups are not available for Big Al's Online. Shipping takes about 5 business days using Canada Post Expedited Parcel. If the item breaks during shipping please call 1-888-824-4257. A customer rep will go over your options and work hard to correct the issue.
