Can I get T5 bulbs for an aquarium without plants? I have pulled out all of my plants from my 55G and have not re-planted yet so I don't want to run my grow lights. Does this exist? If so, where can I get them?

Thanks!:)

t5's are used in the industrial sector. Lots of warehouses replacing the hps or metal halide lights with a set of 4 t5ho's. Don't think they'll be too much different than your bulbs for plants. 6400k or 7000k seem to be common. Look for any industrial light supplier.

Try the many hydroponics stores. They may have full setups with t5's. I used a sunlight supply retrofit kit to install in my wood canopy. That I bought at JL. Hydroponics stores may have alternatives that are cheaper.
