$5 for 10 stems of Canadian pondweed (Elodea canadensis)
Pondweed is a versatile stem plant that thrives in moderate to strong light. It is an efficient nutrient sink that removes nitrates from the water column. Will root in substrate or float. Excellent fry sanctuary and spawning ground. Provides good cover for nervous fish.
Plants are from my fry tanks and will be rinsed and soaked in carbonated water to remove hitchhikers. However, this treatment does not affect all eggs.
