I have a similar set up using a 180g Tuff Totes container and building a cedar surround with a chicken wire cover to keep out the bloody raccoons. Good to see people out and building their DIY projects already. I have another couple weeks of intense work and then I'll be joining you in the spring building season.

Here are some pictures of a similar pond, built for me by gklaw. It even has wheels. I added the cage on top myself. The netting keeps raccoons and children out, and lifts off easily for maintenance. An air pump is attached to the post behind, and powers an air stone. The pond looks a lot nicer with plants.
