Well I came home from work today and my big severum was dead. Not sure what happened, left the house for an hour came home and it was dead. So now the tank is looking a little empty.

Looking for suggestions on a good center piece fish.

Tank is 6 foot 125 gallon

Current stock is:
6 angel fish of different sizes
4 gouramis
4 black skirt tetras
1 black beard algae eater
1 red tail shark
1 bristlenose pleco
1 kribensis

Is the tank planted and what is the substrate and decor/overall look?

Lightly planted. Bunches of swords and other low light plants spread throughout. I have driftwood pieces on one side and some rocks on the other. With sand substrate.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your severum. They are great fish. What about just getting another one, or do you want something different?

I am thinking about getting another severum. But also might go for something new. Depends on what I can find.

Been looking for either flagtail, severum or some type of geophagus. Haven't been able to find any of them yet though.

King ed had some juvie red severums, but they were $35 each which seemed high to me.
