Hey all, Just a couple of quick questions since ive finaly had my planted discus tank do well with no deaths for a while now, (just started discus last year)

How are clown loaches with discus and cardinals?

Also has anyone kept TIGRINUS cat fish in a discus setup?

If that ist an option for me I have a 120 with lethrinop itungi' red caps in it, Would a tigrinus be ok with them?

Richbcca keeps his 12-14" tigrinus with his group of wild discus from 4"-5"+ size.

None of those should be mixed with african as water requirement is much different.

yea I wouldn't ever mix discus with them, I just ment the tigrinus,

I have 4 discus smallest being 3.5 inch largest being 5+ inch WC brown discus

I wonder if the cardinals would become tigrinus food?
(the one's I got from you charles..)

they will. I feed my tigrinus those when they first arrived. Tigrinus comes from the same water parameter as your discus; perhaps not as low in PH but I would not put tigrinus with the african.

clowns can distress discus as they are active at night. no idea on the tigrinus..maybe as they get bigger they may bother them..guess best to just watch .
