Still fairly new to the hobby...
Was doing a general clean, water change on the 30 gallon... fiddled around with the HOB filter but didn't clean it out this time, I guess I must have knocked it slightly out of level with the low side being the side closet to the wall, well today I noticed a nice stream of water all the way along the baseboard, only a slow drip of a little less than a gallon. I guess the combination of not cleaning it out and being on the wrong side of level = small amount of water dripping down from the top and down the wall!
A lesson learned, and a reminder for everyone...ensure the level of the HOB filters have the high point at the wall side of the filter... if that make sense? A 1/8 - 1/4" difference might be all that saves you from having an unwanted leak!
