I was wondering how safe it is to drill a glass tank. Got a new tank couple of months ago and would like to drill it. I've actually done it once before, and it went smoothly. I'm just wondering if that's normal or if I got lucky. Is there anyone who does this service?

had 6... 1-1/2" holes drilled in the back of my 220 gallon tank. no issues what so ever. Just don't try and drill tempered glass! Tempered is sometimes found as the bottom glass on tanks...that needs to be drilled before the glass is tempered! otherwise it will shatter!
