I woke up this morning and found my dwarf neon rainbow fry beating everyone up. I thought it was funny at first but not so much now. They are attacking each other as well now. Everyone was getting along fine until today. What could have happened to change this behavior over night?

Sounds strange, not sure what's going on there Janice, how often do you feed them?

I feed them 3 times a day. It just started this morning. Bright coloring, flaring, and a tan line going the length of their back. Some of them are acting normal but about 5 of them are being nasty. Especially one of them who seems to be protecting a plant.

My guess is that they're going through the breeding process - establishing their pecking order...
How old are they when they start that? Laurie when were they born again? June?
