its a range of small pebbles.. smallest is about 1/4" to i think about 1/2".. i saw a pic somewhere i just need to find it so i can give you an example.. i'll post it when i find it..

looks almost but not exactly like a mix between the two, a lil orangey.. its used as i took it out of my 29 gal tank
