Hey guys, I currently have 3 severums and an accara cichlid living happily in my tank but I have always wanted a frontosa cichlid. Yesm I know that they strive for different types of water but I've herd many cases where people have severums with their frontosas. Do you think it will work fine since cichlids are very hardy?

Those fish are from different parts of the world which have different water parameters. The fish may survive and tolerate the water and possible aggression but I personally wouldn't mix.

honestly, yes it is possible, but dont do it. not nice. frontosas are a deep water, high ph fish. if you want them so bad please get a separate tank.

All kinds of mixes are "possible"
The real question is; "Will all concerned have the quality of life they deserve to be given??"
I believe that is what we are responsible to strive for as fish keepers.
That being said, I'm sure you can draw your own responsible conclusion.
IMHO, this is definitely a two tank situation.
Cheers!!!
