Hi there!

I made a mistake. I went out and bought what I thought was two red bellied newts. Unfortunately, the petstore had them mislabelled and it turned out they are actually paddle tailed newts. This species of newt is highly aggressive and shouldn't be kept together so I need to rehome one. They are also fully aquatic amphibians.

The petstore has offered me store credit but with the way they take care of animals and the fact that the newt set up was incorrect, I'd rather find him a more loving home.

If anyone is interested in taking one of the little guffers home I'd be happy to sell him to you. If you are interested, I have a 5 gallon tank I can sell along side him to get you started. It can be used as a temporary tank if needed.

Asking $20 for the newt or best offer (I just want him to find a home) and $15 for the tank with light/filter

They are both eating and are acting perfectly healthy.
