What is the hose barb attachment size? 16/22 or 12/16? Where do you attach the CO2 line? Enquiring minds would like to know!

Hi Stuart, the hose barb attachment size is 16/22. I attached the CO2 line to this PCV gizmo (it started to leak - you can see from the picture that I tried to seal it, or I would recommend it to whoever purchases this to use as a Cerges reactor. I can still include as an example). I've seen some other people find a brass or plastic attachment as seen in the picture below.

You can use a 10/32 tap thread bit and thread in 10/32" drip irrigation barb right into the fitting or find a brass 10/32 barb. Breaking a 10/32 plastic barb for sprinkler is not fun if there is no shutoff valve at the in and out of the reactor

You can get 3/4" NPT to 5/8" barb at some store. This will allow the user to keep the 5/8" (16/22) hose size without reducing the water flow down to a 1/2" PVC.
