I have just broken down a couple of cracked tanks and re-using the glass for some DIY tanks to fit a specific spot in my fish room.

The left over trimmings could easily be made into pleco or other breeding caves ... wondering if any one has an idea if this would be worth the effort or not? My plan would be to put the cave in and among rocks and wood to keep them dark and protected.

I've seen online people cutting up pvc pipe and claypots in the middle and gluing glass on one side so you can have viewing angle for pleco or whatever critter is inside
