This is in the wrong section. A moderator should move it.

How high is your ph?

I have an African tank with 7 different types of plecos. My Ph is usually around 7. Bristle noses work well and are the most active. Very hardy and seem to do well with my Africans.

I've been breeding petricolas for a few years now. They don't miss much I tell you.

Petricolas won't clean algae.

As stated by others - Bristlenose plecos are quite happy to do the work in hard alkaline conditions
