I was wondering if anyone can tell me what type of pleco this is? my husband got it the other day and can't remember what it was :( lol Thanks :)

From that pic, I'd like to say it's a Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps, but I'm sure AWW will be along at any minute now to tell me it's an L001. :D

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure is the Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps or what is commonly called a Sailfin pleco. Hope your tank is a pretty good size, as mine grow in just over a foot in 3 years.

No problem for quite a while then. They tend to get a bit aggressive when they get larger. My Gibbey fought with my Chocolate cichlids all the time when it got to be a foot, usually over food. :p They're very active compared to most other plecos, so I think you'll really enjoy it. Pretty good algae eater when small (< 8" or so) too.
