Hi all. I had been a member of BCAquaria since many incarnations ago under the same name. I'm from Langley and I've kept tropical fish for roughly 8 or 9 years and used to breed dwarf cichlids. I had 12 aquariums at one point but am now down to 2 with several in storage. I've always made a point to keep live plants in all my tanks. :)

I mostly bred "triple red dwarf cockatoo cichlids" (apistogramma cacatuoides) and occasionally kribs, rams, and apistogramma agasizzi.

This was my breeding male and one of many females:

Nice looking triple reds , i had similar looking apistos as well and found them to be the easiest to care for and breed.Kept half a dozen other species too but didnt have the time to look after all of them.Maybe one day i 'll get back into it as they were my favorite cichlids to keep. You planning on getting started all over again ? :)

Thanks all!
