Hormoned aulonocara?
Was in undisclosed lfs and saw some >2" alounocara with undescriptive scientific name. There's about 10 of them with about brightly coloured up orange/red already. I thought most peacocks this size is still drab looking and doesn't show colour until 3"-4" mark. Any one that breeds from true good stock can confirm this please?
Their order point says comes from Taiwan. The only peacocks I know that are coloured up in this size are hybrids sold as strawberry peacocks.
Can anyone knowledgeable about order origins can give insight on this how this small fish gets male colouring already.
