So i've been looking to replace my current standard size 125 gallon tank as there are bubbles in all the silicone seal and its been bugging me as its a ticking-time-bomb with a load of water in it. Who knows how much longer itll hold for... but its been fine :p

Taking it apart and re-silicone-ing it isnt an option as i have nowhere else to put all my livestock.

Anyways, i gave King Ed a call and they sell them for $499 for the tank. Its a no name tank as Ron told me and that they built it in-house.
My question, how reliable is this in-house tank? Generally how many years can i get out of it before noticing silicone problems? Also, how reliable is something like this tank compared to a Hagen on Aqueon or any of the tank manufacturers?

Just called Rogers aquatics and they sell an Aqueon one for the same price.
Which would you go with? Aqueon or in-house?

And generally speaking, how long should the silicone last on the 4 corners before any issues arise? Mine right now is about 12yrs old. Is this kind of the norm for the life span of a tank?
