Hopefully this will help explain the confusion of using crushed coral to raise hardness and it's ineffectiveness. There seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding this.

I actually use replenish to raise GH after reading your sticky regarding lower mainland water. So far, all the new fish I put into my tank has survived and are really healthy.
