like the title said my kadango (Copadichromis borleyi) and my Eye-biter (Dimidiochromis compressiceps) are acting very strangely towards each other, they chase each other around but without any biting, stop circle each other then sorta shiver and shake then go back to chasing. With the other fish in the tank they just nip at or fight them if they have a problem, why the big display with each other?
Is it a territory thing or are they trying to produce mutant offspring? I know male eye biters are supposed to be abusive as heck when they are mating/courting, so what say you guys?
Oh also, they are both adults around 7 inches, and when they act like this the eye biter colors up to his dominent/breeding colors.
