Hello,

I'm pretty new to this hobby and I added some plants to my aquarium but my lights don't seem to be powerful enough. I am looking for purchase a led light for my 46 gallon tank that is 36" long. Does anyone have one that they are selling or anything they would recommend I go buy? I don't have big $$ to drop on leds but would love to get your opinons.

Agree, Dino. Personally, I would consider lights OTHER than LEDs for a tank that size . . . especially for the health of "live" plants.

P.S. I use a fluorescent and LED combo. Using timers, the fluorescent canopy is on for about 10 hours a day. When it shuts off, the LED light (blue) comes on for about 3 hours. . . but this is only for "decorative" purposes in the evening and not for any benefit to the plants.

Plants are doing well. The only other plant care is "Flourish Tabs" buried in the sand substrate AND trimming the leaves, when needed.
