does anybody know where to get filter floss in bulk or somewhere cheap? I'm looking to put it in my fluval 305 bottom tray to trap debris.
or if you have some for sale i'd greatly appreciate it!

I get the inexpensive poliester pillows from Walmart when they are on sale

the fiber filters well

how much are they when they are on sale? Is there any sort of pillow i should avoid due to chemicals and such? or can i just buy the cheapest polyester i see w/o being worried about things leeching into my water? (sorry, i've never bought filter floss before)

Also, i have a 40% off coupon to Michaels. would their pillow filling be worth it or is walmart still cheaper?

If you buy from Walmart or Michaels, make sure it's 100% polyester without any chemicals.

You can also get some filter floss from Canadian Aquatics or J&L Aquatics.
