Hi there,

Looking for an Echinodorus Grandiflorus to put in my 33G planted as an emersed plant (cf. photo example)
Ideally around 16-20" high.

I have a bunch of Crypt. Balansae for trade, red cherry shrimps and/or blue pearl shrimps,
also willing to buy if not too expensive :)

Send me a PM if you have one that you are willing to sell/trade!

Thanks,

Nicolas

Wow, that Echinodorus Grandiflorus looks impressive in the picture. Too bad I don't have one or else I would have traded it for the Crypt.
I've tried a similar scape with broadleaf arrowhead before. They were very vigorous and reached about 30"-35"(the tank is 24" tall). Getting just sunlight from a south facing window, they even produced white blooms. During the winter the plants lost some vigor but started to grow again as summer approached. They tend to produce new tubers in different spots, so the placement of the plants move from year to year. I probably did not fertilize the substrate enough because new tubers got smaller every year. Around the 3rd or 4th year they died out. Never the less, it was quite an interesting plant.
