Well, I've hit every Canadian Tire, Walmart, Superstore, and landscaping and garden centers between Maple Ridge and Mission.
I haven't been able to find lava rock (except for one place that sells golfball sized ones in big bags).

I'm hoping either you happen to have 5-6 fist sized lava rocks or have seen some for sale.

Thanks!

Try landscaping places like Northwest Landscape Supply.

Nah just need to be clean. I'm gonna be building mounds in my 20 gal. Eventually they'll be largely covered in sand and moss.

Hhmm... koke stone might be a little pricey for what you're trying to do. I'm working one street over from northwest. I can check it out for you and let you know.

Thanks. I don't mind getting show stones for the rocks that will be visible - I actually have a very nice large manten rock to show off. But I'd like to try building a couple tall structures and lava rock is the most economical way to do that.
Thanks for checking northwest.
