I have otocinclus for smaller community tank setup. I also have other fancy plecos that will eat algae as well.

sorry I have been away I dont think it is a good idea to put small ones in with cichlids that are about 4 inches big, so if you have anything let me know thanks

I don't have any personal experience, but from what I've read although Amanos grow up to 2 inches, they may still become food. On the other hand, nerites should be fine. They press their shells tightly against the surface and stick to surfaces quite well (but in the event that they fall off of something and lay on their backs, they cannot right themselves on their own).
