Stuart I had a similar problem with that light.I managed to fix it myself but I run a back up light on it as well.King Eds had some clamp on lights that may be suitable.I also bought mine at J and L.

You are welcome to drop by my place to pick up couple 3W White clip on LED...it should be able to keep it going till your light back.
