For scraping the hard green algae off the glass in my plant tank I was thinking of getting a Mag-Flip.

My Mag-Float works fine for getting the softer green algae off the glass but I have to take a razor blade to the hard stuff.

Has anyone used a Mag-Flip? Any recommendations?

I just glue an Easy Blade onto the back of my Magfloat and it eats up even coralline algae in my reef tank like its nothing.

I have an Easy Blade for my reef tank.

I have to remove it after each use because I don't want it to rust. I scrape my coralline every few weeks with it.

I am looking for something for the plant tank for hard algae that is not as tough as coralline but tougher than the normal soft algae. A credit card did not work. I will try the Mag Flip and see how it works.
