We haven't changed it though. The classifieds are programmed to automatically close after 60 days with no posts. When did you post the ad in question? I'll try to find it for you.

When you changed the Marine Classified Section you destroyed all the recent postings!

???

Nothing has been changed, as Pam said, any posts older than 60 days without any activity (bumps\replies, anything) are deiisted automatically (not deleted), but unless there was some sort of data loss, which I'm not seeing, nothing has changed.

Please elaborate.

(Edit: Thanks John, should have mentioned they aren't closed\moved either)

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they do not close automatically after 60 days. You can not edit post after 60 days but Im sure classified ads have to be manually closed by the user, mods or administration. As mentioned, nothing has been changed with the classifieds to our knowledge.
Eileen could you please be more specific and provide the details of what the problem is exactly, so we can figure out what the problem is and resolve it.
Looking through your list of post and threads, I see that nothing is showing up as deleted. When threads/post are deleted, the mods and administration can still see them on your list, even though you can not.
I did notice you had several ads that had never been closed, a couple of which were posted in the middle of last year. Which somewhat confirms that they do not close automatically after 60 days. But again I could be wrong. I went ahead and closed any of your classified ads that were no longer needed/available.
In the event you didn't know, members have the ability and are asked to close/manage their own classified ads when they are no longer needed/available. You can find the instructions here: http://www.bcaquaria.com/forum/fres...ieds-25/how-close-your-classified-ads-114169/

As for the problem you are currently having an issue with, please be more specific with the details and we will look into it immediately. There could be a technical issue we are not aware of and we can pass the info on to the administration and tech team to see whats going on.

In the event that anybody else reading this, is having the same/similar issue in any of the classified sections.... please inform us and provide the details of the problem including which section it is occurring in.

Thanks
