Hi guys, I was at Clarks today , intending to purchase substrate for my Lake Tang. tank, and I saw some Bolivian Rams and fell for their faces. I bought some and put them in my 50gallon tetra tank. They seem to like it (many unclaimed caves and places to make house). Does anyone here know how to sex young ones? I cant tell if I have a pair or not...thanks!:p

They're tougher to sex than blue rams. I had no idea whether mine were a pair or not until suddenly, there were eggs. As there have been no fry yet, I still don't really know!

I have a pair and they are delightful fish. A bit on the shy side at first but very personable. In the case of my pair, they are bigger than any of my other fish but they are very gentle. A young female betta bossed them around until I put them into a different tank. They seem quite intelligent.

Congratulations on your Bolivian rams.
