So I purchased 1 red belly piranha from fish addicts in Langley . I no Forsure she’s a red belly but I purchaced 4 from someone online and they look a lot different , my RBP is very green and the red on the belly is very pronounced, the other 4 I just got the red is very light and there scales are a more bright silver colour , Also the tail on my RBP has that very strong black line down the edge , the other 4 it’s a lot lighter. I did get the fish shipped to me and they showed up extremely beat up . I purchased them from exotic pet imports Canada and they were covered in bites and ammonia burn, fin rot , very bad damage from smashing into the glass. So I have been medicating the tank trying to clear up the issues . So I thought mabye the Color is because of the stress but it’s been a few weeks now and like I said my one RBP I already had just looks so different even the shape of the head seems to be a lot rounded on my 1 I owned already . If anyone could help and just let me no if they are red belly piranha and not some other species I would really appreciate it . Like I said I no the one I already had was a female Because she laid eggs one night and she was the only fish in the tank so I also thought maybe the rest could be males maybe ? Would love any input on this situation thanks ! The female who’s a lot greener is in pictures 2/3/5 can’t miss her colours!

They all look like red bellied to me
Alright thanks for the help I really appreciate it someone put it into my head that they were different species of piranha
I would suggest trying sources like Below Water's YouTube channel. It's taught me a lot about different species identification. Punching
"below water piranha" in YouTube yielded this as the first result, and despite not having watched it, it looks promising.
