Need BCA people's advice or suggestions on what to do with a new 160 Gallon Tank!

Tank Specs (all I know so far):
  • Dimensions
  • 50" Long x 64" (with stand probly 30")Deep x 26" Wide
  • Adequate Filtration
  • Lighting
    [*]Accessories

I plan for sure to put my breeding group of 6 Blue Dolphins (Cyrtocara moorii), so would like to know people's ideas about tankmates and designs.

I was thinking of 4 Bala Sharks growing them out, and 3 red tailed sharks with a pleco and a few lobsters/crayfish.

I was also thinking of making it a planted tank, but I don't know if I can do it with the Blue Dolphins because they need a higher pH... but they are ok at 7-7.5... Let me hear your ideas ;)

Planted tank all the way! =)

Red tail tanks... they fight too much with each other!

Get some small schooling fish, it looks nice when they go around your planted forest! at least i think so =)

Okay, so should I just get a single red-tail and some medium size schooling fish like bosemani or those red rainbowfish being sold by a member here

@eternity302 Well blue dolphins are peaceful, but still aggressive against smaller fish so if I would have a group of cardinals they would probably be eaten at some point.

I want a lightly populated tank with all the fish having bright/er colored fish.
