Hello to all. I have just purchased a 90 gallon setup. Got the complete set up for $300. I had no idea how everything worked so I had a very helpful guy from locale fish store come over and explain everything.(refered me to this site) I am going to be going reef. I am sure I will be here a lot asking many questions. Thanks in advance for all your help.
90 gal tank
Wet/dry filter with red sea skimmer
60 lbs live rock
5 power heads
Stand with light canopy (great for coral the guy said)
Now I have to get fish

Welcome to the site,

Who was the fellow that helped you out? Was it a employee at animal house? I lived in chilliwack my whole life only to venture to calgary for the last few years :)

Very brave to venture into marine so fast :) Can sure be an expensive startup cost.

The benefit is that this website is really geared toward helping each other, and you will get tons of help. Just ask away whenever needed :)

Good luck

Yes Jordan from animal house. He was a big help. I am looking forward to the experience and final outcome of a marine tank
