hi everyone i have this cute little pleco can anyone tell me what kind of pleco it is ? also if you can tell if its male or female that would help too

Hard to tell. Looks like a type of hyprancistrus. It could be L129, L340. How big is it?

I suspect it's too young to sex.

its almost 1" long right now also im not sure of how old it is as i got it with a 5.5gal tank i got off of crigslist this morning so i have only had the little guy for a few hours so far its eating good i have moved it in to my 20gl long tank that has no other fish in it right now going to make the tank a pleco & shrimp tank
