Our 265 gallon display in Richmond's fishroom is developing nicely. For those who have not seen it since it's revamping, it has a modest population of Rainbowfish, Chalceus and in particular Barbs.
The Tannin rich water seems to be contributing to some incredible coloration. The Odessa Barbs and Longfin Rosy Barbs are simply stunning. Barbs in general don't receive the attention they should and we are hoping this display will create awareness of the beauty of these fish. A recent upgrade in the filtration will cause some of the Tannin effect to diminish but viewing these fish are worth your while. Enjoy!:D

You should do a vid of the 265g Grant, that's a nice tank. Maybe you can get a pic of that monster 3' Fire Eel, before someone snaps it up...:cool:

BTW, what happened to the sharks and the big grouper that was in there? Have they been sold?

Well since your camera battery died Grant, and l was in the area. l saw that eel last week, and its a monster. It's 3' and thick. Got a quick pic of the 265g aswell...:cool:
