Shrimp Fever is having a sale. Trying to help setup a group order to lower the shipping. There are 3 people for sure on the order. At minimum just one more person is needed. Pick up would be at Surrey Center Mall.

We are going for 100% DOA covered shipping.

On the same boat as SeaHorse_Fanatic. Tiger shrimps are not in stock. However if you are getting low grade cherries, Pat (mykiss)of Canadian aquatics sell them and I believe it was 35/25.

I probably will just order shrimps from a shrimp farm in Taiwan, appear they can just send the shrimp through Fedex without go through custom and stuff.

Just wondering... Why buy $2 cherries when you can support our sponsors who sell them at the same price or less? AND they're closer so there's less stress time for the livestock whether you are picking up from them or having them shipped across the lower mainland.
Check out April's Aquarium or Canadian Aquatics

Ya.. I agree with Reckon. I was wondering about it as well which is why I mention Pat in my previous post. I can understand if you are looking rare shrimps such as blue tiger, however normal grade of cherries or even fire red are really common in GVA and I fail to see shrmp fever has advantage on the price since you have to pay more for the shipping and handle.

You don't pay more if you have at least 4 people. I was told $18 shipping to Cloverdale from him.

Sorry but I'm on a tight budget savings in any spot is what helps. Unfortunately $5 for a high quality is too much for me, and the $2 cherries on SF in the picture look to be similar in quality to what I already own. The $2 ones with CA is not. That's why I chose SF.
Not to mention the Carbon Rili.

I can't get out there unfortunately. If its not within a 20minute radious of Cloverdale, I am SOL. That is a really good price though.

Fair enough.

However

18 dollars for all the shipping? It will be cost more if you have more ppl join the group buy isn't it? Consider different type of neo will be in different bag unless he pack them together. (since you don't want they to cross breed during the shipping. You will end up with ugly wild brown color shrimp.)

Forum member dazalea use to sell carbon rili. (Thou I haven't see him post for a while. Probably not enough babies.)

Maybe I can sell you my cherries in the future since I found 3 or 4 berried females. Wa ha ha ha ha ha.

I did a test run. 4 groups of 10 different shrimp. Came up as $55. I looked around in the shipping/returns tab and they did not say how they packaged multiple types of shrimp. I will ask when I get home.

I'll keep an eye out for the poster. I need shrimp within this month otherwise there is no point in me getting anymore unfortunately. ><

I would guess it will be packed together in 1 bag. If it is pack in 4 seperate bag, than you will require larger box and installation which end up cost more to ship.

If it is the shrimp you can get locally, IMO it isn't worth trouble to get it online. SF also only grantees no DOA, and some times shrimps die couple days later after you place in the tank due to shock or stress of shipping which isn't covered by DOA.

Fire red and paint fire red shrimp are done by select breeding and they all start from wild cherry shrimps anwyway. Female shrimp is also more red than male one.

I bought mine from April and will be getting more next week most likely. Great person to deal with and my girls always enjoy going to her store and looking at all the different fish and shrimp she manages to keep healthy in that small floor space.

Shipping from SF seems high to me and getting shrimp from across the country as the weather gets colder is a bit of a risk compared to going to April's or Pat's for some shrimp locally.

Shrimp fever will package shrimps in different bags so they wont cross breed. Depending how many shrimps your ordering he should be able to fit 5-6bag in a box that cost $55 for shipping. I got 65 shrimps from him back in september and he fitted 4 bags and a some shrimp in there no problem. All is healthy and had 2 batcj of babies already=) . Tommy the owner is really friendly and helpful too. Totally recommend him.
