Thanks for the generous donations to our VAHS Monster Auction

Just got home for the Monster Auction and wanted to say thanks to April for her donations. As the LFS seem to be dwindling in the lower mainland :( we are not getting a lot of donations from LFS's, so April's donations were very much appreciated by our VAHS club and I am certain by all who attended :) Thanks again......

Thanks April. You're a real asset to the fish keeping community.
Need to have these auctions more often? Unfortunately I wasn't available this year to attend. :( like to see happen every 3 or 6 months and maybe a central location? I definitely missed seeing everyone and the deals of course. I also have so much stock, tanks, equipment and fish could probably have my own auction lol but the main reason here is to help the cause ( Vahs) can't wait till next year..

I had a great time at the auction. Even my wife, who is not into the hobby, came along and had fun too. It was my first time back to the VAHS since the 4th annual monster auction. I actually attended the first, second, third, and fouth. I was a club member then. Used to bid on angelfishes from Karl Walter, and I think Dave Carlson, and killies from Bill Stone. It was good to see Dave and Bill still around.

Thanks April for your kind and generous donations!

Perhaps you didn't notice, but Karl was there too.....sitting in the front row next to Bill. Although Karl didn't bring any angelfish, he did bring several bags of beautiful killlies :) Karl is still a very active member of our VAKC killifish club and, along with Bill, is still one of the top killifish breeders in the world
Thanks for the info, guppygeorge! I didn't recognize Mr. Walter. I've never actually had the pleasure/honour of meeting him even though I must have seen him before, and I've had many of his angels and their offsprings over the years. Hope Mr. Walter brings some angels for the spring auction.
Does anyone have a contact number or email for Karl? I know someone looking for killies on the island. He can deal with him directly .
