just curious as I'm about to get into SW and would appreciate some mentors and advisors.

the website seems to be quite out of date with last activity coming up for around 2012.

I see some activity here that's current, but perhaps that's just for locale convenience?

The VAHS is still very much alive and well. We had our annual summer bbq/get together at my place in July and the next club meeting in September will also be held at my place in Burnaby. PM me if you want more info.

can I ask who maintains your website? like I mentioned, there doesn't appear to be any activity on it for the last 3 or 4 years.

I can't attend this coming meeting, I'll be away on vaca...but perhaps there's another Vancouverite (I live in Kits) I can tag along with for the October meeting and meet you all.

Are you sure your looking at the current website? It is http://www.vahs.ca . You may have viewed an archived link from the Vancouver Aquatic Hobbyist Club (the old name).
