Re:Guianacaras, they may not be the species i was sold them as...The true Guianacara geayi hails from French Guiana, a region not usually collected commercially. It is replaced in the west (Surinam and Guyana) by G. sphenozona, and, given the very restricted distributions of G. oelemariensis and G. owroewefi in Surinam, G. sphenozona from Guyana is probably the hobby "geayi." (Although, in recent times, several American and European aquarists have collected in Surinam and returned these other Guianacara species, which have had limited distribution through principally non-commercial hobby channels.)

AWW, send me a PM with your cell# and I will msg you some pics.
some fish sold, updated list
I'd be interested in the Guianacara, but not at the moment. What's your timeline like?
not in a big rush Daryl, but do want to get rid of them in the next month or so...
If I am being realistic, a month is too soon for me. Too many irons in the fire at the moment... I'm at that point in my life where my kids are young, and my house is old - so I am busy doing something ALL of the time. Very rarely do I get to sneak in the hobby projects that I do just for me - like set-up new aquariums, or upgrade to a larger tank!

Guianacaras are a cool fish regardless of which species it is. I'm sure when the time comes, you won't have trouble finding a home for them.
No problems, they are pending now. For the future they normally have some Guianacara at Fish Addicts in Langley.
interested in the cories! pm'd

Are these guys still available? I'm considering parting with my Tapajos and could fake these guys to replace them..
Hi Daryl,
Yes i still have them. I have someone who wants them but he hasn't come to pickup yet. I will message him and see if/when he's going to pickup and if not soon i will let you have them. Stay tuned i will get back to you asap.
