So I discovered my 2 peppermint shrimp acting a little off lately. One I've had for about 3 months the smaller one I added about a week ago. One if them moulted yesterday, I'm guessing the newer one. They've been doing this for about 20 minutes. The larger one looks more pale in colour which lead me to believe its moulting but I think some o you guys are more experienced so thought I'd put it out there.

Is this mating behaviour? Moulting? I know my bicolour/royal dottyback is curious in them. Although he kinda picks once or twice at everything in the tank and swims on.

Hope the video upload works from my phone.

Haaha that's funny! I read that they mate right after the female has moulted. They should be facing each other though. I have never caught mine in action so I can't tell you. To me it seems like they were getting ready for some action. Lol
