The Christmas moss in my 5.5 gallon nano planted aquarium have fuzzy, brown stuff growing on them, they arent dying though. What are the fuzzy substance?

I have a Nicrew classic LED light on for about 8-10 hours a day, water parameter seems normal, and temperature is around 24 degress celcius.

Pleas help!

PS: I need to rehome my pleco, contact me if you are interested.

The fuzzy stuff may be "black beard algae" google it and see if it matches what you have happening in your tank.

To rehome the pleco you may have better luck posting a for sale or for free ad in the freshwater livestock classified section of the forum.

Get a small Silver Flying Fox. They are amazing algae eaters. Also known as Reticulated Siamese Algae Eater. I just sold 2 of mine about 3 weeks back. Try on freshwater classified.
